each Homecoming and Reunion Commonspokes Directory is a secure database of the history and interests of alumni. A
Commonspokes Directory is created when alumni complete an online questionnaire. Alumni also have the
option of uploading a photo. The software uses information from the
questionnaire to instantly generate listing pages. Participants can then search the database to view
listing pages or to identify people who share interests. Alumni can
easily update their pages online.
Web links make it easy for alumni to find out about
upcoming events or special fundraising campaigns. In addition, customization of
the questionnaire makes it possible to tailor a Homecoming
and Reunion KnowingTree to special institutional needs.
Through
access to an administrative page,
the alumni office can generate mailing lists of people who share specific
characteristics. The administrative page also features a printing function so that copies of the
Homecoming
and Reunion KnowingTree can be made available.
