In our culture, it has become increasingly difficult for people to get to know
one another. The Conference Commonspokes Directory makes it possible for people
to link up, before, during and after a conference. Participants use this
Commonspokes Directory to plan recreational activities and to set-up meetings with people
who share professional interests. The Commonspokes Directory will foster a community
atmosphere at the conference that will increase collaboration, learning and fun.

Features
At the core of
each Conference Commonspokes Directory is a secure database of the history and interests of conference
registrants. A KnowingTree is created as registrants complete an online
questionnaire that has been tailored to their interests. Participants also
have the option of uploading a photo. The software uses information from
the questionnaire to instantly generate listing pages. Participants can then search the database to view
listing pages or to identify people who share common
interests. Conference participants can easily update their pages online.
Through
access to administrative functions,
the conference coordinator can generate mailing lists. The conference
coordinator can also print copies of the KnowingTree for distribution at the
conference.
