newsletter. Each year, Healthyculture.com introduces
new culture-based wellness resources at NWI’s
National Wellness Conference. In addition, NWI
sponsors the Robert F. Allen
Memorial Scholarship at its annual National
Wellness Conference. Robert F. Allen was the founder
of Healthyculture.com’s parent company, the Human
Resources Institute, LLC The award recipients have
made outstanding contributions to peace and wellness
through creating supportive cultural environments.

Associates
Holtyn & Associates has provided health promotion
services to more than 400 companies. Clients that
have implemented the group's unique One to One
Worksite Wellness Program have demonstrated a 50
percent reduction in cardiovascular disease risk for
periods of up to 14 years. Holtyn & Associates has
also received numerous awards from a wide variety of
organizations, including the State of Michigan
Governors Award, the American Heart Association and
the C. Everett Koop National Health Award for
Excellence in Health Promotion.
Holtyn & Associates is using culture change
assessment tools to guide the work of worksite
wellness committees. They are partnering with their
clients and the Human Resources Institute to report
on best culture change practices.

Nebraska Methodist College Master of Science in
Health Promotion Management
The graduate and undergraduate programs feature
courses on supportive cultural environments. The
program utilizes Healthycultue.com's online training
and Dr. Judd Allen teaches a graduate seminar on
culture change. The program is the only online
training that emphasizes health promotion and human
resource management.

The American
Journal of Health Promotion (AJHP)
AJHP is a
peer-reviewed research publication dedicated to the
art and science of health promotion.
AJHP has been
responsible for the publication of
Healthyculture.com’s health promotion research. In
addition to journal articles, culture-based health
promotion chapters have been featured in AJHP’s
newsletter, The Art of Health Promotion, and
in AJHP’s book, Health Promotion in the
Workplace.
Under the auspices of the Health Promotion Research
Foundation, the journal sponsors an annual Robert F. Allen Symbol of HOPE Award.
Robert F. Allen was the founder of
Healthyculture.com’s parent company, the Human
Resources Institute, LLC. The award is given at the
National Wellness Conference to
celebrate work in bringing culture-based health
promotion to underserved and disadvantaged
populations.

America (WELCOA)
A national association
of community-based councils dedicated to fostering
wellness in work settings. These councils function
as "Chambers of Commerce" of worksite health
promotion. WELCOA and Healthyculture.com have had a
close partnership for more than ten years. WELCOA
board members appear in Healthyculture.com's
Wellness Leadership
video. WELCOA and Healthyculture.com teamed up
to publish an article on management's role in
promoting organizational wellness. In 1999, WELCOA
and Healthyculture.com created the
Take the Test of Your Lifetime brochure. In
addition, companies use the
Lifegain Health Culture Audit to assess
their eligibility for WELCOA's Well Workplace
Awards.

IHPM and AHPM have a special focus on the mutual

care plans and employees. IHPM and AHPM have teamed
